Oh,,and Sky,,,dropped everything but the TV cos the internet speed here is a pot of pooh and even they conceded we need fibre optic,,,got that now..to be told by engineer Sky do fibre optic but don't let on cos they wanna sell their own packages

Another pet hate is all this political correctness claptrap!

When I was working on BR we never used real names, everyone had some sort of a nickname. We had me (Puff - no idea why but I must have been a bit of a dragon!!) a guy known as Chalky (I never did know his real name) Nobby (Gobby Nobby cos he was always starting a row) then there was Mozart and his mate Listz! (obvious reason!) I am still in contact with a big lad who was known for some unknown reason as Marigold, I think if he was to say hello I'm Bert I wouldn't know who I was talking to. He was out with friends and someone shouted Marigold... What you drinking? and the pub asked them all to leave as it was "degoratory".. To what?

My best friend's wife is registered as "Sight Impaired".. she's not allowed to put Partially Sighted as that derogatory. As she says she's nigh on BLIND and she can't say it, because she might get offended.

I am not allowed to put Housewife on paperwork, I am either a Homemaker (I am not a builder thank you very much) a House Person (Do I look like I have a roof on my head?!) or I am doing Household Duties (oh wonderful, now I'm a servant!) Surely I should be able to choose what I class myself as?

Your title should be 'Domestic Goddess' My whole family have nicknames,,,mine is either NooNoo,or Squeak (don't know how Squeak was born lol) and I don't think anyone I know personally is known by their real name...even myself and my bestie are known as Birdage and Birdette !!! I love monickers,,it makes us individual

I have 2, puff and Scaz.
Scaz is a corruption of Scazzy which is Ottawan slang for scatterbrained! thats me ok!!

oooh and another thing that gets me, and the In Laws are swines for this, they stay over and I rarely watch TV but when I do it's something I wat to see.. for example a live Johnny Cash concert that was shown, or the men's final at wimbledon.. they walk in, aren't interested and change the channel!

My mum has a habit of walking in, not being interested in whats on tv and talking through the show. but if Mr R is watching something everyone has to be quiet cos "daddys watching the telly" (her words not his).
I was watching a film once and she said I think Hubby wants a cup of tea.
He was sitting in the room with her and he said It's ok mum, I'll make it and was told, oh SHE'S not doing anything.

OMG !! I just got clobbered by an eejit in Sainsburys and an employee of theirs at that !! So flipping busy flinging his arms around whilst chatting with a colleague he failed to notice me and whacked me right on the arm !!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr,,I swear I'm getting more and more invisible

Ok went to Asda's and saw this.. it REALLY grates on me.

Little old lady, no more than about 5 foot tall asked a member of staff to reach her down a packet of something and got, IS IT THE BLUE ONES YOU WANT DEAR OR THE RED ONES?
She looked him flat in the face and said, "I'm short not deaf son!"

Why the bl**dy hell does chaos always break out when a family member dies !!
Quick history,,,
1) My sister was married to a bloke we'll call G
2) 2 daughters K & A
3) G treats my sister like crap,,violent etc Sister hits bottle
4) Sister does a flit after he battered her senseless,,leaving kids
5) I get sister home,,we go to court,G wins custody Sister still drinking on the quiet
6) Day after court case G arrives at my Mums,dumps all the kids clothes in black bags on front lawn,,2
scared scruffy kids pulled out of car,he yells'I only wanted to win' and bogs off
7) Obviously we take kids,sort them out,find a house for them etc etc
8) G's absolute B**TCH of a sister sees me and my sister in town pushing my pram and RIPS into her,,I
end up getting arrested cos my head went,,new baby,stress of the situation,and sick of seeing my
sister in bits cos HE beat her so badly,,and she is still drinking (on the quiet)
9) Fast forward 10 years,,,,my sister died of liver failure,,,family in bits,,protect the kids (that are now
grown girls)
10)Sisters funeral G and the witch rock up !! I had to be held back,and I said nothing for dignities sake
11)G has a kid with a druggie (boy)
12)Fast forward to last year
13)G o'd's....found dead...K informs my family,,,we all rush to her and A
14)Day after..I go to K's house,,BI**H is there,,and guess what? acts like nothing happened!!!!! I take a
deep breath and swallow the venom threatening to spew out.
15) And heres the kicker,,,,,NONE of G's family have a pot to pee in,,so MY family,,the siblings of the
girl he battered and turned to booze end up PAYING for funeral (solely for our nieces)
16)Fast forward to yesterday,,,,,,B**tch claimed ashes (fell out with girls ages ago).....takes them to 14
yr old hooligan(the son) and he starts a facebook war with the girls,declaring what he is and isn't
going to do,,K & A devastated,,again me and my family get dragged in
17)Spent yesterday smoothing the waters and calming my nieces down,,let the hypocrites who have the
ashes do what they want to with a pot of ash,,their dad aint in that box,,his soul (for what it's worth) , has long gone
So,,my rant is,,,,,,why oh why do people rewrite history and think their evil gets forgotten? and why
the bl**dy hell do they have to carry on hurting people???
My family can hold it's head high and we will carry on supporting the girls,,,the rest can whistle dixie,
we never have to see them again,,

I do Sapphy,,,I wanna go up there,,kick ,scream,hit someone,,but my gorgeous elder brother won't let me,,he even rang me last night from his holiday to see if I was ok,,,people who don't acknowledge the past but drag it into the present AND rewrite it are nothing but sewer rats I've made mistakes,I've hurt people (not intentionally) but I face it when confronted with it.......some people !!
