Likewise. I might apply for the Maldives. Seems nicer than Bra'ford, anywayz.

        Re: Citizins test.

One might wonder if the questions had been set by the BNP. For example, why should someone native to the UK know where a person from B:censored:land or another non-EU national should apply for a UK work permit?

Then there are the answers than seem to be wrong.

9 How many bank holidays are there per year in the UK?

Apparently, there are only four bank holidays in the UK. This is, of course, quite wrong, as there are six bank holidays per year in England and Wales - with the addition of Christmas Day and Good Friday which are public holidays.

        See link

Scotland have the additional bank holidays of January 2 and of St Andrew's Day, when many of its male inhabitants may be too inebriated to work, whilst Ulster celebrates St Patrick's Day and the anniversary of the Battle of the Boyne (1690) with two additional bank holidays for much the same reason.

This link even has a nice chart.

"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

You don't need a score, you just need to get in the country without anyone knowing and after about 2 weeks you can pop out of the blue and it's as if you had lived here all yer life.

One of the truest statements I've heard/read for ages Di.

Ok peeps I failed, so see you all in Barbados during the winter and North Cyprus for the Summer months.

No, but the test did not ask any relevant questions.

Why should one be expected to know what proportion of Londoners are from "ethnic minorities" or what percentage of people attend a service of supplication to their preferred sky-fairy?

Wouldn't questions more directly related to citizenship and to simple courtesy be more important? For example, they could ask when one should give up one's seat on a public omnibus, what is the current price of the Manchester Guardian to the nearest groat (72 groats) or how a game of cricket is played.
