The boys are all still asleep but his head had stopped bleeding by the time we set off, he'll probably have a bit of a bump and headache this morning, poor thing.

Sounds like you all had a good time, sorry I was not able to come along, but do have every intention on coming along to one in due course, would be lovely to meet you all in person.

Morning all x bit bleary, just waiting to get my train back home. THANK YOU all for an amazing night! Such fun to meet everyone and Sharon & Jules and the baby Beagles coming was absolutely brilliant, even if one of the babies got a nasty head injury....how is he today? Pesky low flying lamps lol

The Hilton were so good with looking after us and the cake was excellent.

Just a quickie to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who organised this meet, particularly Turbo, Tuttsi and Celestine, the effort you all put it was staggering and it paid off with a fantastic Beagles 5th Birthday party !!

Also THANK YOU to EVERYONE for making us and our herd of baby beagles so very welcome. We all had a lovely evening and it was great to see some of the old faces, and meet some new people too.

Yes Monz--internet facilities in the Information Centre---address in your guide

Bill will be leading visits to Railway Museum(free) & Walking the Walls after lunch on Saturday

Theres a McDonalds in the street near Bettys or Information centre---also a Wethersppons just outside micklegate Bar--better than the one under travellodge opposite Hotel 53 btw---theres a whole host of the usual eateries Monz

Nice words Tutts---but I'm only the Front Man on this thread (bit like Freddie Mercury-lol)

However, behind the scenes "in another place"--"Team York" (Tuttsi Bill & Sapphire) been beavering away chivving people and liasing with Celestine while I test the beers--lol Tutts

• Helping to decide the itinerary from various options I put to 'em
• Producing Flyers--well done Sapphy & Bill--and Bill also the senior sounding board
• Getting quotes & ordering little "gift surprises"---full car Tutts-pmsl
• Helium Balloons for publicity at the pubs
• Tutts especially looking after liason with Hilton for the Birthday Dinner--& woe betide the chef if gets the cake icing wrong--lol

Hi to all our York gang

I am looking forward to meeting with you all and getting this party started.... we have talked long enough, had many discussions, exchanges of views, and deliberated also as to where what and how.

Everything is now in place with thanks to Turbs he has been a brick travelling back and forth to the city of York and tasting the beers at each pub lol and checking out the attractions sorting out the meal at the Hilton so that we can party.

We have all taken some part in the arrangements as well but the majority of the work has been initiated by Turbs.

All have safe journies and see you Friday or Saturday depending on when you are arriving.

If anyone last minute still wants to come just PM either Turbs, Bill or I so that we can still include you, we dont want to leave anyone out as everyone is welcome.xxx
