but there are far better deals than they advertise online. For instance, my Iphone £ costs me £28 per month, after the £7 discount. I have unlimited O2-O2 calls, 1200 minutes, unlimited texts, and more internet than I can use in a month ( I think it's limited to 750 meg, but I am on and off all day and don't get anywhere near my limit) This came with a free Iphone3, reconditioned model, and only an 18 month contract, whereas most are 24month these days. So ask if they have any recon ones. I know the deal I have is no longer available but there are probably others.

That's very true Wendy. However, it's also widely known that many people go for a deal because it looks good which is actually way above what they actually need and mobile companies make millions every year because of this.

It's a balance of the offer versus what you really need. Why have 1200 mins when you only need 900? Why have loads of data when you only a fwe hundred mb?

So much is personal choice. I, like you, negotiated a contract that doesn't exist with 3.
