Here is a new way to prepare your Christmas Turkey.

    1. Cut out aluminium foil in desired shapes.

    2. Arrange the turkey in the roasting pan, position the foil carefully. (see attached picture for details)

    3. Roast according to your own recipe and serve.

    4. Watch your guests' faces...

    May your stuffing be tasty
    May your turkey be plump,
    May your potatoes and gravy

          Re: New turkey recipe

Thought I'd go for a nut roast instead nahh, Turkey, else my mum will shoot me.

Lidl have some ''nice'' ready made stuff in, any one know if any of it is any good? seems good value - Turkeys £8.99, prawn ring, £2.99 and so on.

We don;t have the kids this year (they're at their respective 'other' parents' houses lol) so just 4 adults to cook for. Christmas for the kids is going to be new years eve lol (also means I can get pressies in sales after christmas).

I've never tried anything from Lidl Ame, but I have heard some good reports.
Very handy being able to get the pressies in the sales too, thats a result I feel plus just 4 adults too, you should be in for a lovely time, although I suspect you'll wish the kids were there too lol.

We are going to our neices house, hopefully she'll be over the flu by then. I suspect we will be having the traditional Christmas dinner and this year its my turn to supply the pudding, thats handy I thought, bought a 'Finest' one from Tesco, a chocolate gateaux and a couple of tubs of cream and thats me done lol.

Just need to toss a coin as to who is driving which I suspect will be me as usual.

I have not actually shopped at Lidl for a while now, but we had tea at my inlaws not long ago and we have a nice piece of gammon, I must admit I did think it was very tasty.
I may even pop in for some myself.
