I am have not been here a great deal today, I've had some family members, as its my oldest son's 22nd birthday this coming Monday, so we had a bit of a get together, despite that though I did manage to get away for a peep maybe the odd post here and there lol :tung:

Have heard from Jamie again this evening, he said he is in the hotel restaurant waiting for his meal, he's doing ok though, because all expenses paid by the works, hotel, food his fuel etc.

Another day tomorrow, where he will be attending a course in the Newcastle area, and a long drive home. However, the hotel his works booked him into is an hour away based in Darlington lol.

What a change in the weather again , from hot and sunny to wet and windy...........arh well it is October afterall .

My older son got promoted in his job over the last week or 2 to a Recruitment Consultant, so proud of him.

However, he has some travelling to do for the time being to meet up with co-ordinators of the business, but doing ok.

He left to go to Staffordshire at 6 am this morning, to stay in a nice hotel called the Stone House Hotel, obviously all expenses paid, travelling, food and the hotel, got there within 2 and half hours.

He should return home by tomorrow evening, and next week he is off to Newcastle for 3 days, so 2 overnight stays in a hotel there somewhere, don't know which one yet.
That will be about 5 and a half hours to 6 hours drive from here.

94 Sleeps to be exact !

I have already got some pressies and they are wrapped and in their pressie bags, my what I call ordinary Christmas cards are written and addressed, am going to buy the 'special' ones ie family, friends this weekend and the business ones are ready for the printers.

As always I aim to have everything done by December 1st apart from last minute food stuffs, cards go in post on Dec 1st also.

I'm not buying too much food this year as we are off on a Cruise on the Red Sea on 29th December, 7 nights cruising then 7 nights at the Sensatori, Sharm el Sheik. We will actually be at sea on New Years eve, should be fun.
