Well, since our -13.4 on Sunday night it's warmed up considerably, it's allegedly only -1 now but with more heavy snow forecast for tomorrow.

Have had a lovely night, as we couldn't decide what to buy Tony's parents for Crimbo (cos they are old and don't need anything lol) we took them out for a meal, along with our daughter Jess and our son Lewis and his live in GF Emma. Only went to the local Sizzler, but the food is lovely and very reasonable, had a great night and the bill only came to 61 quid, that was meals for 7 and a round of drinks too, including a bottle of a very half decent wine......

It's - 1 here at the moment, thats bad enough, was - 5 this morning brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Please, please can we all do a group prayer and ask the man upstairs to stop sending us the snow ?

Good news re your burglars Wends, mind you if they are kids, whats the betting they will say they are from disadvantaged, one parent families and will walk away with a smacked hand and a holiday courtesy of the tax payer, or if they are 'older' burglars then they will get a smacked hand, community service that they never fulfil and will be back burgling again with a day or so.

God the justice system in this country sucks, never mind rubber truncheons, a good long sentence in a proper prison, doing hard labour is what these people need.

Good news - it's only -8 outside at the moment:bedjump: as opposed to the -11 when we went to the stables at 6.30am.

Even better news - had a phonecall from the Police to say the have arrested the scrotes who burgled our house and have them in Court tomorrow. Apparently they spent most of the day questioning them yesterday, I did ask if that involved beating them with rubber truncheons but was told that the good old days are over lol.

    Good morning everyone.:cancan:

A few inches of snow and more on the way, its actually predicted to last way into next week.
So get building those snowmen and igloos folks :clgblinkie171:.

I may venture out later on to town centre to get some odds and ends for Xmas, will be walking though, good exercise at the same time.

Eldest grandaughter (14) got some designer type braces fitted-with bit of glitter on each tooth

Seems to be a fashion accessory - popular among teenage girls

Asked youngest grandaughter (4) what she wants from father Christmas?

You guessed it " Some braces like big Sis"-:bedjump:

    More Happy Stuff!

Won another 30 quid on the Irish Lottery
West Brom won 3-1 today and I won 8.50 on it, 50p on the correct score at 16/1

and as well as that, 10 mins on Ebay yesterday and a quick trip to HMV and Waterstones this morning, paid for with vouchers earned from surveys, and Christmas is as good as sorted
