    Hi. Cheers for the congrats. Yes, it was a bloomin hard slog but I followed advice received at the outset that it was rectifying injustices with the use of data (eg Defaults etc) that should be the starting point, not compensation. So during this dispute with HSBC we refused to accept the cash compensation and demanded they remove the Default, which they wouldn't. So we went to the FOS and they have taken our side.     I'm going out with my friend Barry tonight, he's so camp he makes Julian Clary look straight, we are going to a gay club in Chelmsford, its not worth getting there till around 10 ish and doesn't close till 3 am, so I shall see strictly and X-Factor first.
    Need to start getting ready soon, will take that long for the polyfilla to set :grin:

    OH has just beaten HSBC over the head with a cricket bat. Has been awarded £300 compensation and had the Default removed from her credit report following a FOS adjudication. Great news that FOS can and will look into Default/CRA issues!

    This is our first success at recovery since using these forums!
