  • Sexist BBC and the Women;s world Cup

Ok, don;t bother showing the England's women's team in action on BBC1 til the quarter finals. Not like it was their first time in the world cup(IT WAS)
For god's sake please have the darn highlights on at a reasonable hour. Sexism at its worst. THANKS BBC-----sexist gits

I don't think its sexist = there's just not as much interest in the women's world cup, and we have enough football messing up the schedules at the moment as it is.

Football of any kind is more important than crappy soaps.

I am sure I read that the women's World Cup was in China so highlights would surely not interrupt soaps after say the 10 O'clock news? Just a thought

Don't give a flying pigs whisker about the soaps. Just can't abide football, but then my husband watches every sodding game even the most obscure teams are playing. 'Every games different' etc etc. AND then watches them again of MOTD and baseball all night on channel 5, and the womens football too...and bowls...and cricket yawn...and rugby...and he wants to get Sky so he can watch more.

Wife: 'Football, football, football! That's all you ever think about! If you said you were going to stay at home one Saturday afternoon to help with the house' work, I think I'd drop dead from the shock!'
Husband: 'it's no good trying to bribe me, dear.'
