  • Dr Who

We so far what a complete pile of steaming excrement.
I'm not sure if it's the new writers, Matt Smith, reduced time slot or what, but it sucks botttom big time.
Does help they keep moving the time slot around, but there you go.

I think its good, , the 'series' versions are never as good as the 'specials' - if you go back and watch some of the last two Dr's series programmes then Matts are okay. He has a hell of a lot to live up to following David. I never really watched the guy before David at the time but have seen some back since and they arent nearly as good.

Last nights seemed a little bit random tho - not sure it worked but I only watched bits so reserve judgment for now. The vampiress one was good, so was the stone angels and the prisoner zero.

Kids love it which is good cause they were gutted over David leaving lol (I didnt cry AT ALL honest )

    So sad.

I love it too, suppose it has to vary story lines quite a lot to keep everyones attention, especially the young ens who are much harder to please entertainment wise I think.
I have been watching this longer than on here most I would think and will continue to do so.

I love Matt Smith and I didn't expect to because David Tennant was so good.

I loved David Tennant and didn't expect to because Christopher Ecclestone was so good.

        You're outnumbered Curly.

          Re: Dr Who

I suppose my problem is with the stories and reduced time slot.
While the progression is good, the endings thus far have been overly rushed and contrived.
Why not go back to the 50-60 min slot rather than the current 40-45 one.
Would allow more time for a reasonable conclusion to the story lines.

Admittedly I'm looking forward to expansion of the overriding arch story that's starting to get interesting.
Just what is the crack all about??

Matt Smith has some HUGE shoes to fill after David Tennant and giving him better story would help immeasurably.

It's for BBC America, to factor in the adverts. Former years have seen shows cut to fit the hour timeslot I think, so this time they decided to go with 45 as the average so to standardise it.

            I'm loving it though lol
