  • A man with principles

Michael McIntyre refused to appear when he realised a gig he had been booked for was for a group of debt collectors even though this meant foregoing the £28,000 fee.

    Good on HIM!!

Plus I would have loved to see the faces of the Cabot managers trying to arrange a short notice stand in.......bet he/she was a BIG disappointment to the crowd if they were expecting Michael!

    My heart bleeds......
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

I doubt he needed the money and is in the lucky position that he can afford to have principles and stick by them.

              Re: A man with principles

I am currently helping two people defend claims by Cabot where there is clear evidence that Cabot sent forged Notices of Assignment on OC-headed paper, in attempts to justify their ownership. In one case (I jest not) the letter was on Egg paper but signed Cahoot - Abbey. They then wrote to apologise 'on behalf of Egg' for an error that had not compromised personal data. They then had the temerity to send a different copy and claim everything was OK.

This firm is a disreputable and deeply dishonest organisation operating on the very fringes of legality. Its time that the OFT took some serious action to collect and act on such data to shut these firms down.
