I have to agree with Sapphy, if I dont prepare then I dont enjoy, in the past when I havent done any prep, I run round like a headless chicken, carting bags of stuff back from town everyone else enjoys all the hard work Ive put in and I end up knackered and wanting to sleep the week away Bah Humbug get it done by November if you can!

Im dreading this year think it may be a squeeze financially so any tip gratefully recieved!

If you have a small business (I have) and you send out cards to your customers then its time to start printing off the address labels, signing the cards and getting them done and dusted.

or .........

Rightyho peeps if anyone is planning on doing baking etc its time to start hunting out your ingredients ready, works out a lot cheaper and get a bit at a time.

September / October for Cakes and Pudding baking so there's plenty of time to feed them the Brandy/Sherry/Whisky or whatever is your choice of tipple.

It has just dawned upon me that YES, I am preparing for christmas....

By working through my debts & the paperwork, I am infact clearing my dining room table so that by the time christmas comes.... we'll be able to sit down & eat at it LOL!

I will start actively thinking about it on 25th September. That's Jessie's birthday and its exactly 13 weeks before Christmas. Although have already startedsrting out how many I'm going to be cooking for. Definitely 5, possibly 7, so might be a couple less than usual if its only 5.

Yippee!! Love christmas - hate the rushing around and stress of it all!!

beign really sensible this year and have agreed to a limit of £10 per person this year for friends and extended family - anyone got any ideas for gifts under a £10???
