Okies peeps, as its all gone quiet with the Test Case etc I just thought I'd start this thread and see if anyone's getting ready for Christmas yet.

I bought my cards, paper etc in the January sales, and I have bought a book of 2nd class stamps each month through the year (no we havn't got loads of friends, I have to send out cards for our business too).

My top two money saving tips for Christmas (and Christmas is traditionally December Sapph, not bloody July!) are as follows:-

1. Do not bother to buy Christmas cards - they are a waste of money.

2. Burn the ones you receive - it will keep you warm.

Well.... gallo white grenache rose wine is £3.65 a bottle at sainsburys at the mo... Its the best selling rose in the uk, so it might be worth stocking up on as its usually £6.10 a bottle in tesco

I have bought a case... each bottle had a £1.25 off code that you redeem for a voucher (which totals £15).... so, all in all, a right bargain that can be put aside for xmas!
