Well.... gallo white grenache rose wine is £3.65 a bottle at sainsburys at the mo... Its the best selling rose in the uk, so it might be worth stocking up on as its usually £6.10 a bottle in tesco

I have bought a case... each bottle had a £1.25 off code that you redeem for a voucher (which totals £15).... so, all in all, a right bargain that can be put aside for xmas!

Well at the offy down the road from us it's on a special, all year round, 2 bottles for £7.50, not a bad deal. Better one than that is Beringer Stone Cellars Zinfandel, and Sutter Homes Zinfandel. The beringer is £6.51 a bottle in Asda, but every now and then they have it on special at £4, well worth stocking up on if you see it. Although I don't stock up, if it's in the house, it wouldn't last till this weekend, let alone Christmas!

If as you say 'you hate Christmas' and as above 'have not booked a holiday yet', why not combine both and fly off ( I was going to put **** but it is a banned word) for christmas, maybe to a place they don't celebrate it.

I'll own up I find Crimbo a chore really, its all that running round like a headless chicken buying up the last of everything, thats why I like to get it all done and dusted well before the date that way I can spend all of December chilled.
Re the baking of cakes and puddings I also own up to just loving cooking, baking etc. I make our friends/neighbours and family cakes and puddings and hand them out thats why that jobs started so early AND it makes the house smell delicious, in fact I've a few orders already.

I must admit I love Christmas. Even all the stress that goes with it lol. Every year I try to get organised in advance, and I am getting better at it, I must admit. The main thing is to relax and enjoy it, everyone has their own ideas and ways of celebrating it, just do whatever works for you and you'll love it.

Well I am prepared in as much as I know how many peeps will be round the dinner table, where we will be eating out at on Christmas Eve (our 21st wedding anniversary) and I am prepared for being skint as usual, before, during and afterwards. What more preparation do I need pmsl.
