The ultimate cricketing contest takes place in England this summer, and we're giving you the chance to manage a team of your favourite English and Australian stars for the duration of the 2009 Ashes series!

We're giving you a budget of £100,000 to pick 11 players from the two Ashes squads. Like a real cricket coach, you will have to choose the correct combination of batsmen and bowlers - and score the most possible points to lead your team to glory!

There's plenty to play for, including a home entertainment system, an Xbox360, and tickets to Ashes Test Matches and One-Day Internationals. To read more about prizes, click here.

The matches covered by the England v Australia Test Match Series (The Ashes) are as follows:

1st Test 8th July - 12th July
2nd Test 16th July - 20th July
3rd Test 30th July - 3rd August
4th Test 7th August - 11th August
5th Test 20th August - 24th August

Scoring Points

The scoring system for Sky Sports Fantasy Ashes 2009 is easy to follow, so you can just sit back and enjoy the cricket...and rack up the points in the process!

Your 11 man team will score points based on your players' bowling, batting and fielding performances, so your team will score points for every run scored and wicket or catch taken. However, your players can also lose points, if things just aren't going your way.

Selecting Your Team

To start picking your team, you'll first need to log-in. If you don't already have a Sky Sports Fantasy League User Account, you'll need to register a few personal details, or if you do have an account, simply use your registered email address and password to log-in. Click here to enter your details.

Then it's time to be your own Chairman of Selectors, but without the pressure of the media following your every move and scrutinising your decisions. From your match fee budget of £100,000 you must select your 11 man team, with no more than eight players from either country, ensuring that it also complies with one of the specified player combinations. Making Team Changes

You can make unlimited team changes until the scheduled start of the 1st Test Match at 11:00 BST on Wednesday, 8th July. After that, you are then able to make up to four changes between each Test Match. For further details on team changes, please click here.

On your Team Page click

ENTER NEW LEAGUE ->

You will then have a screen that has:

Joining An Existing League:
If you wish to join an existing Private League, you must obtain the Private League PIN from the person (Chairman) who set up the league. Once you have obtained this PIN, enter it in to the box below and hit GO. If you are sure you have the right league, you must then click JOIN THIS LEAGUE to apply.
Once the League Chairman has accepted you in to the league, you will be able to view your table by clicking on the relevant Private League name on your team screen.
