Good idea Ame, what we need is somewhere like Petey again, the hotel was bang in the middle of the bars, clubs etc. Personally I don't mind jigging around in a Chicago Rock again at least the music varied and was to everyones taste. Hell they even played Robbie yayyyyyyyyyyyy.
I've just taken a look at Travellodge - Coventry, looks like its somewhat out of the way, we need to take a look for hotels located near the 'action' so to speak.
Birmingham Central looks promising but the rooms are around £66 for a double.
    I've checked on dates, 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th November.

    Anyone else got any ideas.

Oh and I've chatted to Ashley, and asked him to come up with a possible deal in his hotel in Barrow.

Okay - whats the plan ?

Do we want to go somewhere just for drinks and a laugh or do we want something more orgainsed, involving food, that maybe costs more ?

A drinks night out in coventry is probably the most likely to be attended by most people as once you take travel expense, hotels and then a 'dinner' / 'entrance' fee on top many wouldnt be able to stretch to it.

So someone pick a date - find a nice weatherspoons and a nearby travelodge and we're in business

    I THINK

...if peeps meet up 6 or 7ish then those that want to can get some grub in the pub ..... and bring your own crackers

You can usually get dry blackthorn and/or strongbow round here. Most places sell Magners as well these days, if thats any good to you.

Coventry is good for me, but please make sure the venue sells good beer, nothing worse than turning up and finding out they only sell Fosters or Carling, or some ale that measures 2.6% abv, They don't sell cider in the midlands do they?

not worried about a room, I usually find a hedge

he he he you're all most welcome - I have a fab christmas tree provided by beryl with red and green baubles....and I am the happy fairy make it on a thursday and tools can be anifrid and agnita and and amy can be benny and bjorn (we're on a budget) and ruthie can do backing vocals.... we can have spiderman and barbie paperplates (hand drawn by the kids) and eat rock fairy cakes with billions of e numbers and sausage rolls (value ones naturally)....and i do so happen to have a trampoline which i can stick some hobby horses to which makes a lovely carousel (in a tornado anyway) - mistie, enaid and xena are providing the drinkies - so as they probably polish them off before u arrive I'd bring your own.
