    For those that are interested or just curious

    Space Shuttle Endeavour will be launching this evening

    Full countdown and live streaming of the event can be found here

    Launch is scheduled for 6.36pm Eastern Time, approx 11.30pm GMT with a 10minute launch window

    oooo lovely

    I used to spend ages watching nasa tv online (sad ass as I am) completely fascinating seeing things in 'real time' Watched them trying to fix some solar panels on the outside of the international space station....fabulous views and beautiful light.

      If you ever get chance to see an actual launch in Florida, its amazing.

      Due to the distance you have to be away from it, you actually see it take off, then you hear it, then you feel the ground rumble.

      Its an experience, believe me.

      There was also a rocket launch the other day, sending the next probe to Mars, due to get there in 9 NINE months.
