Can we have 'none of the above' added....?

I know this is not on the ballot papers but should be, given the chance this is where my X would go.

      Please note.
Who ever put UKIP I would advise AGAINST in the strongest possible way.
Their "leader" and most of the MEP's are simply their to bury their collective noses in the trough that is European expenses. A good freind of mine was elected to Europe on the UKIP ticket and was soon drawn into the whole shotting match.

If the excesses of that system ever came to light it would make the current parliament issues look like a tea party !!!!!

Re: How will you vote in the European Elections?

I've held off all night and been really good and been biting my tongue ...just this one post and I'm out.... ....Please do not vote BNP

        http://www.hopenothate.org.uk/?page=home

Over the past few years the British National Party has seriously contested council elections all over the country and now has 55 councillors at district/borough level. The BNP is now concentrating all its resources on the European election, in the hope of getting Nick Griffin elected to the European Parliament in the North West and possibly achieve MEPs in the West and East Midlands and Yorkshire and the Humber as well. Once there, they would link up with other European fascist parties, to gain international influence and, above all, funding beyond the BNP's dreams.

What if ... In a BNP Britain

        • The BNP would kick out all those people who were not born in Britain. What if every other country in the world kicked out the Brits? A staggering 5.5 million people would be sent back here – far more than would leave our shores. This includes 800,000 from Spain, most of whom are pensioners.
        • If non-white people were ordered out of Britain then the NHS would collapse overnight. 16% of nurses are from minority ethnic communities, as are 40% of new dentists and 58% of new doctors!
        • The BNP would introduce apartheid into Britain. The BNP call for whites to be given first preference in housing, education and jobs. This is no different from apartheid South Africa, a racist regime which the BNP supported.
        • Mixed-race relationships would be outlawed. The BNP constitution opposes any racial integration. Articles in BNP journals condemn mixed-race relationships as “mongrelising the white race”.
        • The BNP’s answer to violent crime is to allow every household to have a gun. We kid you not. This barmy idea was in the BNP’s 2005 general election manifesto.

I agree, how many years have the auditors refused to sign off the accounts at the EU?

          Scandalous!!

That is very sad CB about your friend, as there are only 9 UKIP meps out of the total I think 78 from Britain, not a very good percentage imho to rock the boat and stay afloat.
I do think their expenses will come to light eventually and I doubt the British public will be shocked at all.
As with everything here, going into the EU was all cut and dried all those years ago even though we did get a 'token vote' LOL
Why have we never been allowed a referendum since? Simple we would vote out.
It just seems to me to coin an old phrase 'Too many cooks spoiling the broth'
I don't know what can get us back on our feet, I don't suppose many lay people do. I do feel though that being in the EU is more a handicap than a blessing.

Re: How will you vote in the European Elections?

Well I've taken part on the poll, can I please remind everyone that we should all vote, its our chance to get things changed/get our feelings heard etc. Remember our ancestors fought bloody long and hard to get us the vote.
I for one will not waste the opportunity, if only out of respect for our ancestors and what they achieved.

Hasn't there been a whistleblower who refused to sign off accounts because of expenses and she is now a member of.........UKIP

She was on Question Time last week(yes I only watched it for the sport of people ripping into MPs)

Nevermind the UKIP voters, I'm stunned that Labour has actually received a vote.

I give the option of NO ONE for the simple reason, you don't have to take part in the poll or you can state on the thread that you don't feel you want to vote in the European Elections.

With regret, disappointed it was added.

As well as None of the Above, can we have a "I really can't be arsed cos they are all as bad as each other" button please.

And an extra one that says "Except for the BNP because I would never vote for them in a month of Sundays, not even with a shotgun to my head and I would rather give up chocolate forever and submerge myself in a bucket of vomit rather than vote BNP"
