  • Who's next ?

Found this idea for a thread on another site and thought it a good idea for a bit of fun, although we all know its not funny for those who lose their jobs before anyone jumps on me.

So which company / shop do you think will fall victim to the credit crunch.

    My vote goes to: Debenhams.

Yep I thought House of Fraser and the clothes shop East, when I was in town today both of them are still having 70% new years sales all the other shops seem to have taken the sale signs down.

Tie rack is another that seema bit iffy.

                    Downturn boosts Poundland sales

Poundland plans to expand in the downturn

Bargain firm Poundland posted a rise in sales in December, as consumers sought to limit their spending in the wake of the economic downturn.
Same-store sales during the five weeks to 4 January rose 3.9% year-on-year. Sales during the period including new store openings rose 24.3%.
The chain, based in the West Midlands, plans on "significant" growth in 2009, creating 30 new stores and 1,000 jobs.
