I am so excited as I became a Grandma to a beautiful bouncing baby boy this evening, weighing in at 8lbs 20z. Both mum and baby are doing fine

Many thanks for your kind congradulations.

I am well chuffed Feel very happy and proud.

They have called him Elliot and he is my daughters second child (and the last she tells me)

My profession is Midwifery and all births are wonderful and brings a tear to your eye, but when it is your own grandchild I cried.

Later when his big sister met him, that was a very special moment that I shall keep with me always.

Amythst, I really am far too young to be a Grandma, Was a child bride (lie)

I do admit, the body is indeed getting older, but the mind is still very immature, almost childlike, I'm afraid
