Had a brilliant time with my 2 girls and O/H, and neighbors last night. We had over 100 fireworks, and it was better than going to a display. Every year we go to a display, but we wanted a change and thought we would do one ourselves this year.
deffo worth the effort,as everyone enjoyed themselves and glad to say that no-one got hurt !

Had to stay in and look after my dog as he is petrified he was shaking from head to foot . But we had a free display from the neighbours behind us as we watched from indoors nice and warm.

Re: What's your Bonfire Night like?

I had a few fireworks of my own but not the ginpowder type.

I was actually stranded in Middlesborough after driving around the North East in a lorry all day, so not a happy Tools. Come 4.30pm it decided it wanted to break down. Had to be rescued by another driver in my van and taken back to Wakefield, got home around 9pm.

Then it was back up to Middlesborough 1st thing this morning to get the lorry mobile and return it to our yard.

I'm not having a bonfire this year but I hear there was a good one in Paris. They used several truckloads of unsold copies of a guide to the small claims court and 1000 sheets of A4 paper.

I spent the day with my family at my Grandad's funeral.

After the 'do' we stood outside watching a few different fireworks displays going on in his home town.

Have watched a few displays out of my window here, some amazing huge ones as we have a number of parks nearby.
