    Dunraven Finance Ltd, trading under the name Buy as You View (BAYV), has been placed in administration.*BAYV is a rent-to-own provider selling household goods, such as electronics and furniture on hire purchase to customers.

    Customers of the firm should continue to make payments as normal, as their agreements remain in place. The firm is no longer entitled to enter into new loans. Customers who want to contact the firm to discuss their agreement can do so via https://bayv.co.uk/help/contact-us (link is external) or call them on 03331 369 347.

    We are working closely with this firm during the administration to ensure customers are treated fairly.

    Buy As You View is the trading name of Dunraven Finance Limited (in Administration), Kingsway Buildings, Bridgend Industrial Estate, Bridgend CF31 3RY.

    J M O’Connor and D C Hurd are licensed in the United Kingdom to act as insolvency practitioners by The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

    The affairs, business and property of Dunraven Finance Limited (‘the Company’) are being managed by the Joint Administrators, J M O’Connor and D C Hurd, who act as agents of the Company only and without personal liability.

    The administrator said he wanted to reassure customers who have bought products through Buy As You View that it was "business as usual" and they should continue to make payments in the usual way.
    BAYV was ordered by the Financial Conduct Authority last year to pay a total of almost £1m compensation to 59,000 customers. Amongst concerns were the use of payment meters to restrict a customer access to their TV if payments were not received on time.
