Have to agree, feeling really nervous about it...

Just can't help feeling that the OFT will think they've done enough already and not want to spend any more money on it... (hope I am wrong!!)

              How do they know?

On sky news they just said that the OFT lawyers felt that ''another challenge would be lengthy and likely fail''

I doubt whether they got this from the OFT or their counsel directly but if true it would have been leeked.

Just as I thought, what a waste the OFT are.

I very much doubt Sky would have got this wrong, normally they are on the money.

This is what it now says:

Overdraft Fees: Case Against Banks Dropped

Banks will face no further legal action from the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) regarding their overdraft fees, Sky sources say.

The OFT lost a test case last month, when the Supreme Court ruled that banks were entitled to charge for unauthorised overdrafts.
However, the judges suggested the case could be brought to court again using a different legal argument.

                          Note the However thats appeared.

This just sucks! When will they ever listen!!! I wonder how many of the decision makers have ever had charges levied against them for a late payment or whatever....

Another sign of the toothless OFT and FSA running scared from the banks.

The BBA must be laughing themselves silly about now.

Lets not forget it's unconfirmed, but I doubt they'd put that out to be totally wrong.

Another attempt to derail the reclaimers. What a joke this country is. Every consumer website said the OFT HAD to carry on, and they just give up.
