So they found the banks wanting when it comes to treating hardship cases fairly.

      Suprisingly yes lol.

Doing a further FOI for their thematic review stuff.

Also still havent had a response on how they think having waiver complaints stored in no particular order in lots of different departments enables them to successfully monitor the waiver and firms compliance...off the back of their refusal to supply complaints about waiver breaches in a previous FOI request. I think we got Nattie to send that one but will check and try chase it up.

It does show the FSA have taken some steps though to strengthen compliance with the FD part of the waiver, doesnt it?

        Yes it does.

The thematic review is the one they announced on the day the test case was announced in the 'Dear CEO' letter and 2 unamed banks were fingered but it was never published.

Amethyst, we are awaiting revised FOIA request, plus a response from the query. I have an update on stuff that simply changes one revised FOIA into a new one and another one saying someone will get back to me.

Am working on getting another response from another bank, so will update this when there is an adequate response(sometimes getting it takes some time).

Well, having spent weeks on this I have a reply from HSBC

"We provide a list of charges covering the period requested by the customer and this data is available going back to 27 July 2001 if required."
