OFT board meeting minutes for November - I thought Amethyst has a thread on these but I can't find it.

Almost no mention of the test case or PCA investigation but the penultimate item (6) is intriguing.

Oddly, the FSA has not published any summaries of their monthly board meetings since July.

mmm I thought I had too. There are the consultations of the future work of the OFt about somewhere. the next market study that I am aware of is the home buying and selling market study - which is in views before consultation now and will be in consultation from January.

while you are browsing Tools, can you find the what the OFt is going to do over the next year consultation paper ? I know we discussed it I thought I had posted it but can't find it, and now can't find it on OFT site either...brain freeze. Thanks u if u can.

Is it me or am I getting very concerned by this statement from the OFT meeting:-

"Finally, the Board emphasised that
the public presentation and timing of this study will be crucial. The team confirmed
that they will be working closely with the Communications team ahead of public

announcement which is planned for January 2009."

it's the working with the Communications team which really worries me or am I getting paranoid??

That's what interested me. And also the reference 2 judicial reviews.

I do find these minutes interesting. Can't remember which one it was but one of them mentioned a freedom of information request that seemed to be causing them some concern.
