Did the accounts need 2 signatures? have they paid out the claim?

            How did you discover this?

I would be making a formal complaint to Halifax immediately say that you
believe that the PPI claim has been fraudulently signed by him and you want
            the claim process stopped immediately.

Yes, it needed two signatures and I only found out because the Halifax contacted me directly. I went in and they gave me copies of the docs showing my "signature"

                  Re: Forged signature

Were the documents Halifax showed you Halifax's own docs or were they a form of authority for ''you'' allowing them to communicate with a third party ( eg. a claims management company)

I would be making a formal complaint to Halifax immediately say that you
believe that the PPI claim has been fraudulently signed by him and you want
                  the claim process stopped immediately.
Also tell them you withdraw any authority for them to communicate with a third party about your accounts.

Has your ex actually received any refund from Halifax for the PPI do you know?

                    Re: Forged signature

It was a letter of authority to the claims management company and wasn't my signature!

Formal Complaint will hopefully grab their attention.
