Re: Growing numbers of parents flee to Ireland over forced adoption plans
Indeed it is interesting and also full of bitter ironies - it's hard to begin, isn't it? For children who were genuinely not at any risk, those who would have been cherished, this is a further witness to catastrophe.
Ireland is known to be a country where, historically, children have been (institutionally) both seized and abused. Maybe this is no longer the case.

Re: Growing numbers of parents flee to Ireland over forced adoption plans
This is a knee jerk reaction to all these reports highlighting how often social services cocked up. They were too busy breast feeding clip boards and ticking boxes to open their bloody eyes and do their jobs. This is ripe for corruption and abuse –I can guarantee the next scandal to hit social service will be ‘UK babies sold for cash or favours’. I am so sure that I could write a brief synopsis of the article right now and be ahead of the game when it comes to filing my copy when it all kicks off. Stupid, ignorant morons holding people’s lives in the palms of their hands –I moved here to get away from this draconian attitude. I never thought I would see the day when people were fleeing to ‘liberal minded Ireland!!!!
An optimist is someone who falls off the Empire State Building, and after 50 floors says, 'So far so good'!
