If £152 were the average cost to a current account user, it really is not an excessive amount. It is under £13 per month. Most people pay out far more money per month for (say) Sky TV or gym membership or other things which they use. Why is it that banking is seen as a service which should not cost much at all?

Maybe because they all go about shouting about how banking in this country is free. When actually it costs an average of £13 a month.

      Transparency.

But they DON'T go around shouting that banking is free. The only people who pretend that banking is, or should be, free are numpties.
