Sad, but I'm a bit numbed out on the 'celeb dies from cancer' thing ATM. No offence to Sir Terry or his family.

I think it must be our age.... and no one new is really good enough to fill their shoes... except Ant & Dec maybe lol.

Nibbler people die of cancer every single day so the cause of death and their celebrity status is immaterial. We will all be that statistic eventually because we are going to die at some point and see our friends die as well.

My comment was on the media prevalence, not anything else.

In 20 years your kids will be looking back on Ant & Dec with nostalgia and calling that the good old days, and that the new ones are never as good!

Scary thought.....

Very scary.... my daughter found it quite concerning I was so upset about Bowie, and really can't understand why none of us had Saville or Rolph marked out as wrong'uns from Day 1.

The good ole ones had comic talent and did not require 'blue' comedy. Very sad...Bowie/ Alan Rickman, again, sad.

A hoax apparently that Albert Finney has died, some sick gits out there.

I know these things come in clusters but I still cannot get over the fact that Emu and Rod Hull died on the same day –coincidence or what!!!!
Gutted about Terry –The Janet and John stories were the best thing on the Radio.
