I've been using it since 5th June... GDS take their time to announce these things. It is really good and simple to use, and most recent documents are available quickly and easily - no more waiting for the documents to appear in your download area or limits on how long you can access them for. https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/

For researching older companies/documents though you'll still need to use webcheck and pay for documents or find previous names of firms .... they will be adding those to the beta service in the future.
