Well they've made £14700 if they've charged everyone £100. and one has to wonder what the previous customers have done about the hotel taking £100 from them....

Trading Standards have got involved and the couple have been refunded now.

"Our trading standards team became aware of this issue last week.
As a result, we have spoken to the hotel owner and asked for the policy to be removed, which has now happened.
This is a unique case and not one that we have come across before."

I had the misfortune of staying there on 1st November but havent been fined despite my Trip Advisor Bates's motel comment LOL

I loved living round there ... and the Inn was great
