Mine got put on my meter today
As we're on a key meter, we got a letter saying it would be put straight on the electric meter but could take between 3 and 5 top-ups to actually happen. They reminded us that you can top-up with as little as £1 a time, but they had to be on different days to count. So ... £1 went on yesterday (1st top-up) £1 today (2nd top-up) and there's an extra £140 been added to the meter credit!
I can use the money I would have spent on electric to buy a new cooker now (we want a gas one instead of what we have) :cheer2:

My OH had gas before we moved here, I had gas 2 houses ago - we both prefer it :lol: The only reason we are on electric here is because my cooker was easier to bring here (and newer).

I grew up using an aga ... Loved every minute of it! I was the only one who could get a perfect cake out of it every time too :lol:
