5 Reasons to Pay the #LivingWage

Read the Above so Companies that pay Minimum wage will change their pay rates for the reasons stated?If its that obvious why have the clever people running these companies not sussed this?

It also takes the pressure of the working tax credits which makes pay up (more or less subsidising the companies at the moment) to an almost manageable level.

Yes, apparently more is paid in benefits overall to people working and not being paid enough for a basic standard of living.

The implications of this are staggering - once again big business is subsidised by the taxpayer and the money moves upwards to create profit where it's neither needed, nor appropriate, nor ploughed back into the economy in the form of taxes.

To expect someone to work for you and not pay them properly is fundamentally dishonest and shouldn't be condoned.
