    The Inland Revenue has extended the deadline for people to complete their self assessment tax returns after its website crashed.It is giving people an extra 24 hours to submit their forms and any tax owing without being liable for a £100 fine.

      Taxpayers who still haven't filed their returns have until midnight tonight to do so following the Inland Revenue's extension of the deadline by 24 hours. They were given the extra time to complete their self assessment tax returns after the official website crashed.
