    Re drugs.....none of my large family have/had a problem with illegal substances....the 'choice' that has blighted us is alcohol,,it has ripped through us like a tornado and it's legal(age restrictions notwithstanding)
    Exactly! and you only have to look at the effect of Prohibition to see how much worse the problem is when supply and control are in the hands of organised crime. This is what has happened with the "drugs trade" in this country - but only for the poorest. The city "casino" is largely fuelled by class A drugs and is above the law. Otherwise, the drug suppliers, the loan sharks et al are all dominated by organised crime and their enforcement/collection agencies make the most brutal bailiff look like an Avon Lady.
