Wow. Just been watching and tweeting about this. The BBC just showed live pictures of the Tsunami surge. I'll be amazed if there is not a considerable loss of life.

...and they still expect the surge to hit other shorelines around the pacific basin that have not been reached yet.

WOW indeed this puts everything into perspective we do not know how lucky we really are.

Here is us sitting at home in our comfy chairs worrying about our debts and around us globally there are bigger life threatening issues taking place.

Think I will keep my debts than to have to go though that.

My sincere wishes to all those affected.

Heard by wife that one of our areas in the Phils, the beach we use the sea completely went out, so I hope it doesn!t come back with a vengance.

It is a beach which my grandson tells people it is his bath!!! (The Pacific Ocean, biggest bath I have seen.) he was only 2 years old then last year.

This devastation is also going to affect the Japanese economy as production has virtually ground to a halt.

I keep watching Sky news, its starting to look even worse out there, they even think that the nuclear plant is in meltdown and there's a 60 km exclusion zone round it, and what about all the poor animals that have drowned too, so, so sad.

I'm trying to work out why Japan has so many nuclear power plants surely that is not there only source of energy.
