Fred the Bed's affair could have clouded his judgement - Manning's Money - Mirror.co.uk

Now we know a little more of the truth but it wasn't just his wife and the bank he was cheating - it was the whole of the country.

Perhaps it was the chairman's wife LC or it could just be that the head of pensions is not a person any significance in RBS

The article is very good. He was in breach of the Code of Conduct for RBS if he was having an affair with someone who worked for RBS Group who was in a position of significance within the organisation, however, am not sure that the wife of a colleague would count. Usually what would happen is that one or the other person would be moved from their post or that any decisions relating to them would be taken by someone more senior(so I would expect that Chairman of the Group would be the more senior person above the CEO).

Yep - in a transcript from a Viagra Falls hotel tape:-

"Would you like the Bridal, sir?"

"No thanks, I'll just hold onto the ears as usual!"

Didn't Monica Lewinski hold him by the ears as well?

Is the title 'Head' of any relevance?

(Wouldn't be Monica Lewinski, would it?, lol)

Certainly takes 'gagging' order to a new level, pmsl!!

Have we found out who he had the affair with since the news have said that the injunction has been lifted?

Since its emergence in the English language in the 16th century (related to the German quer, meaning "across, at right angle, diagonally or transverse"), queer has generally meant "strange", "unusual", or "out of alignment". It might refer to something suspicious or "not quite right", or to a person with mild derangement or who exhibits socially inappropriate behaviour.

Well Nero had his closest friend "made into a woman" without anaesthetic is that allowable in this case?

Under the Equality Act 2010, sexual orientation is a protected characteristic.
Compared to that, standing around 'Nero'-like, & having a fiddle while major economies are falling down around your ears is, of course, a mere trifle!!
