Hmmmm not too certain, but seems the numbers have raised??

Lloyds has identified 231,000 Halifax credit card customers who took out a card between May 2008 and July 2009.
It has so far written to 3,500, with the remaining letters still to be sent.
      What is Lloyds/Halifax offering?

And why between those dates ?

Has anyone actually had a letter or seen a copy of one posted anywhere ?

Goodness knows, hope I find someone who's received a letter soon.

I know they merged with Halifax around that time didn't they?

I have left a post over at MSE and asked if anyone have or receives a letter to post up, will be interesting.

Explains the start date, but why the end date ?

Just posted something on the main PPI thread about this actually, just a theory lol.

Not a lot to add at this point, but it states this is nothing to do with the JR, as they proactively made the decision to contact customers to ensure product is right for them.
