Hi
My nan passed away november 2023. There was no will and therefore beneficiaries were closest family. She left 2 sons and my mum who has passed away. I therefore became a beneficiarie. I was contacted by one of the sons solicitors and was asked to accept 20000 instead of my share which would be more I sent back what I would accept and have heard nothing since. I sent this back to his solicitor last summer. We dont talk but through the grape vine I know letters of administration have been passed and the house has been sold. I have emailed his solicitor in the interim but had no response. I wonder what the lack of communication is about? If they accepted my offer surely I would have been notified? Or they have managed to cut me out?
Any advice much appreciated
