Hi, i am one of two executors of my mother's will.
I have been kept in the dark and had to find things out for myself i.e bank statements as her finances didn't add up. i was right.
All her possessions were taken out/ given way out of her home (which was brought 60% her, 40% the other executor (sibling), the week after her funeral, (2024) down the cutlery.
The other executor, who solely inherited the house, has finally applied for probate. The first i knew of I received a email to sign a legal statement which I have had nothing to do with or help calculate the sum that is included for my mother's assets.
Due to no contact between me and my siblings, I am reluctant to sign, as I don't and have not seen any of the calculations for the sum of estate.
advice would be welcomed, also if I got my mother's bank statements after death by proving i am an executor does this affect me if I want to renounce the role?
