    When a defence has been lodged to a Civil Bill as part of a challenge to Will do the Court automatically give the plaintiff notice of the Court date or is there now a need to apply to the Court for the trial and date of same?

    Not sure what you mean by a Civil Bill (are you in NI?).
    Is this a case where a caveat having been entered a warning was issued to which an appearance has been entered?

    Further if this is a follow on from your earlier posts regarding your late aunt's will, it would be useful to keep all posts on the same thread as it puts matters in context.
