  • Delays to probate system

There are long delays to the probate system atm, I been waiting 4 months and they only just looked at the application, and they had the cheek to Blaim Brexit?

my question is, can I apply for probate in some other way, to another court, because I have no trust or confidence in the probate registry service at the moment itís new computer system is a joke and they do not have any staff to process the applications, despite the huge hike in the fees.

this is a big government scam with no benefit to anybody, I think I might die before my motherís probate comes through and then they wonít be able to do mine either.

    Hi,
The probate Registry is the only way to apply. Are you the executor? I assume the probate application and necessary inheritance tax forms have been submitted?
I am a qualified solicitor employed by the LegalBeagles forum to provide guidance on a wide range of legal queries. I am happy to try and assist informally, where needed.

Any posts I make on LegalBeagles are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as legal advice. Any practical advice I give is without liability. I do not represent people on the forum.

If in doubt you should always seek professional face to face legal advice.
