Had a google and one of the reports is it was about missold insurance calling from the ' Financial Conductors' lol...


which made me laugh.

If I'm not mistaken 01205 is Boston Lincs. code.

It's more likely a foreign call centre with a ghost number - not enough digits to be a standard Lincs number.

Called re debts so I screamed down phone and hung up. He then called back twice more...third time I left him on hold but he kept asking me to do it so it again and played music. Left him on hold and then hung up

A quick Google on that number suggests it might be more likely to be a PPI/claims fishing for old debts/accounts company rather than an actual DCA?

Had a call from these just now, asking for a Mrs Brooks ( ie. not me) When I asked who was calling she hung up. Bad line and dodgy accent.

call something to do with debts but when I asked the company name, and Indian sounding woman said "Don't you dare ask my company's name"..... not enough digits in the telephone number to be a genuine UK number

I wonder what happens with this lot if you actually engage with them - might be worth doing (with false info) to find out what they are trying to sell.

Had calls from the 01205 number on missed calls just goes to number unobtainable when I try to call back (three times so far)

Let asking about insurance would not stop calling,now when they call I immediatly ask if they want sex and how do they want sex and what gender, it got an immediate aggressive response and told me to F off and stop wasting his time,! Me wasting his time!!!!
Next time they rang it was a girl and I did the same thing she just hung up pretty quick. Seems to be the way to stop them. Calls stopped after a couple of times . Someone else who got these calls used a whistle that stopped them as well
