Just had a series of calls from a private number and then this one, all the same person

Started off by telling me a survey in my area had told them there was hacking

Tried to give me instructions but when I told him it was a Mac , -he referred to mackintosh and apple it went quiet for a moment ( I assume while he was looking up instructions to scam a mac user)

He wanted me to install some screen sharing software

Now it gets really bizarre
he rang back asking me for 3K to set up a call centre so that we could become partners scamming the gullible in the West . As I told him I don't have a credit card -true , or a debit card (not true) he is calling me on Tuesday when I can get a card so we can go into business

Just what i need on a Saturday Lunchtime
he did know my name though

Luckily I am rarely here in the day

yes he did those were his very words.

We are going to be partners apparently. Did you know, and again this is a quote, people in India are far more intelligent than those in UK, USA, Canada and Australia . that came about after I said i thought it a great idea to scam the rich is Mumbai or the 7000 billionaires in Shanghai

I often ask these callers how much money they make from the fraud they are committing.

That normally makes them hang up though, NOT offer to go into business! :tinysmile_aha_t:

I'd be tempted to make sure I was in to answer their next call and see what else I can get out of them

Just had 'Microsoft' call today... someone called John (with an Indian accent) told him i had no computer (we have 4 in the house but these calls are annoying) put the phone down..... literally 2 minutes later called back being abusive and calling me a liar, i told him to stop calling and i threatened to call the police. Not sure if this worked......

CAller was heavily accented and gave out some information on me then asked if " i was a responsible person"? I hung up without answering any questions and then saw these posts on Google. strange matter indeed.
