we all realise you do not post negative comments on face book on anything to do with work.
what would you say if two people who had friends status on their facebook page and have the security settings set to private
one posters calls the boss a prat, the second "friend" then prints off the profile page and gives it the boss.
facebook are covered as it was not them who released the info to the boss, but what about data protection and confirdentiality in the second person releasing the details without the first persons permission
this sinario will not make any difference on a disciplinary action, but what on a data protection issue on the unauthorised release of this data to a third party
