  • AOL Over-charges!!

    Hey there everyone

I've been over-charged over several months by AOL for my broadband connection, despite having cancelled my contract with them and transferred to another provider. I have spoken with them several times over the past 3 months, each time promised a refund - but STILL NOTHING. The last time I spoke with them was about a month ago, again promising to pay me in A FURTHER 30 DAYS (!), which of course never happened. I spoke to the manger (in a call centre in India) andasked to be transferred to someone in authority, only to be told she was the senior person there. I asked to be transferred to thefinancial department, only to be told they DON'T HAVE A PHONE (pulling my hair out at this stage), and then asked to be transferred to someone in England, which of course they couldn't do, but she gave me a number to call - the IDENTICAL NUMBER which I had already used to call her!

They owe me £84, please tell me what I cando next!

    Thanks loads!

WRITE - don't ring, Write to them hardcopy, and email them, keep a copy of your letter and a postal receipt. If you want a hand with the letter type up a draft with all your circumstances in and we can try help you hone it a bit if needed. Detail your calls in the letter (approx times and dates would be good - and person you spoke to if they werent all called Steve anyway)
