We've just had two vouchers through the post from SSE for our pay as you go Electric and Gas meters. About £27 overall ( every little helps) Apparently some 1.5 million PAYG meters were found to have a fault, those manufactured by Landis & Gyr in 2007 ( as ours is) The meter was using the wrong calorific value when working out the number of KwH's used.
I've changed provider from the one who sent the refund so am assuming I need to contact my current supplier and informing them of the issue so they can adjust the meter so it calculates correctly from here on.
