  • No reply to Subject Access Request within 1 month

    We sent a SAR to a utility company by recorded delivery dated 5th Sept.
    As yet details have not been returned to us by them.
    Do they have more time than a month or is it now a cut off point where they can now be taken to task by the ombudsman over this?

    One month and you can complain to the ombudsman - have they responded to confirm receipt of the request ?

      They did as I sent it recorded and they did email us about a week/10 days ago telling us we would be receiving it soon but haven't received it yet.
