Something on the lines of -

A formal complaint was sent / emailed to Cabot on XX/XX/XXXX, I have followed Cabot Financial's complaint procedure, to date I have not had a response from Cabot Financial to my complaint. Cabot Financial is in breach of the FCA's Handbook CONC 7.3.2 to CONC 7.3.13, on debt collection, I am minded to lodge a formal complaint with the FCA and FOS if this matter is not resolved.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you ECHAT nolans actually gave me a reply without demanding money, I feel this might actually get worked out now, what a relief.

So after four months of no contact from either nolans or Cabot, I have come home from work to a letter from nolans saying they have had confirmation from Cabot that no formal complaint was sent to them and now nolans law are again asking for money but I'm sure they will still demand more than what I have previously told them I can afford.

Should I forward nolans the complaint email I sent to Cabot back in March? Thanks

          The full letter reads.

We refer to the above matter and to previous correspondence.

Our clients have confirmed that they have no note of any complaint being received.

In light of this, we look forward to receiving your proposals for repayment within 14 days.

Yes and make sure you can show that it was sent by you to Cabot in March 2023, send it as a PDF attachment.
