  • Bailiff costs

Wondering if someone could give me some advice I recently had a letter from bailiffs saying that I owe £520 but the original cost was only £210 is there anyone that can tell me whether I could have paid the courts Direct or had to go through the bailiffs and pay the extra £310 charge that they put on or is there anyway I can get that money back

Did you have a letter and a visit from the enforcement agent before this latest letter ?

Did you know about the original judgment ? Was the judgment for £210 overall or was the original debt £210 then court fee, statutory interest and solicitors fee added on?

This sounds like the addition of a Compliance Fee of £75 followed by an Enforcement Fee of £235. It suggests no answer to a Notice of Enforcement followed by a visit or did all the documentation go to an old address? You need to give us some more information.
